Hotel Sonnenberg – a family business with charm

Our hotel offers a total of 23 rooms, all furnished in a charming chalet style.The main building houses 15 rooms while the secondary building (the house next door) offers 8 rooms, all with bath or shower/toilet. Rooms with balconies are available by request.

For stays of three nights or more, you have the option of booking an additional meal at our partner hotel Derby (10 minutes' walk from Hotel Sonnenberg). This consists of a daily changing 4-course menu and costs CHF 38.00 per person and day. Children under the age of 12 choose from the children's menu, charged locally according to choice. Please note that half board can only be booked for the whole stay until one day before arrival.

Single room Standard (approx. 11m2) from CHF 85.00

These smaller single rooms are ideal for active individual guests. Equipped with a single bed (90x200 cm in size), shower/WC, telephone, cable TV with radio, small desk, hairdryer and room safe, these accommodations offer all the amenities for a carefree stay. The rooms are located in both the two-storey main house and the annexe Chalet.

Single room Superior (approx. 15m2) from CHF 105.00

These larger single rooms not only offer additional comfort with a Grandlit (120x200m), but also captivate with the view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony or terrace. All rooms have a bath or shower/WC, telephone, cable TV with radio, small desk, hairdryer and room safe. The rooms are located in the two-storey main building as well as in the annexe Chalet.

Single studio with kitchenette (approx. 15m2) from CHF 95.00

Our popular accommodation for longer stays. These rooms have a single bed (90x200cm), a small kitchenette with two hotplates and a small dining table. Contemporary furnishings with shower/WC, telephone, cable TV with radio, hairdryer and room safe are also available in these rooms. All single studios are located in the Dependance Chalet.
Thanks to the pull-out lower bed under the single bed, a second person could also be accommodated here, but the available space is significantly restricted. Maximum occupancy: 1 adults (no additional extra beds possible).

Superior double room (approx. 25m2) from CHF 230.00

Our most spacious room category and therefore suitable for guests who also prefer a little more comfort. Each room is individually designed in fresh colours and combined with lots of wood. Two single beds (90X200 cm), a cosy sitting area, bath or shower/WC as well as telephone, cable TV with radio, small desk, hairdryer and room safe provide a pleasant ambience for your stay. The rooms are located in the two-storey main house as well as in the Dependance Chalet, almost all of them have balconies facing south or east and offer a beautiful view of the mountains.

There is room for one adult or one or two children on the pull-out sofa. Please note that not every room offers space for two children. Therefore, be sure to mention the number of additional persons and their age when booking.

Double rooms standard (approx. 16m2) from CHF 180.00

Individual furnishings with lots of wood and warm colours provide a homely ambience in these rooms. All rooms offer two beds (90x200cm) and are equipped with shower or bathtub/toilet, telephone, cable TV with radio, small desk, comfortable seating, hairdryer and room safe The rooms are located in the two-storey main house as well as in the Dependance Chalet, almost all of them have balconies facing south or east and offer a beautiful view of the mountains.

Double room Budget (approx. 16m2) from CHF 160.00

These rooms are suitable for budget-conscious guests who nevertheless want contemporary accommodation. All rooms are equipped with two single beds (90x200cm) as well as shower/toilet, telephone, cable TV with radio, small desk, hairdryer and room safe. The rooms are located on the north side of the two-storey main building and have no balcony.
Maximum occupancy: 2 adults (no extra beds possible).
